From my opinion and own experience, Freelancer.com is one of the best freelancing site. It's a place for everyone(even newby's) who like to work and earn smart money. Getting projects is easy if you simply put some effort. The most significant part is, there is no delay of getting projects if you are really hungry of it. So, welcome everyone to the wonder world of freelancing!

Working as a freelancer
While you have decided to build up your career as freelancer, various things you should keep in mind. It's range from doing work over night even more long hour. Projects may posted any time,
you have to stick on it. Fast response, quality presentation is must. If a project says about entering, configuring product to magento admin based shopping cart, the first thing should come about your expertise, experience in the filed, no matter if you have no experience at all, just google it, you will have it all.
The nutshell is you have to move on, no matter if you never did the work before.
Better you can check some work that coming frequently, study on them, you will see alike project soon.
And never put your price too low to get the work, it's destroying the field both for you and others as well.
Use multiple messaging system always, that will make sense better to the work provider. If you able to communicate with the buyer fast, he will get know that you are smart enough to handle this, also if you have any doubt, can make that alright by asking him questions, but be sure, don't ask something funny:)

How to success in freelancing
Freelancing is one of the best earning source now a days. But it's not that easy to success. I personally work on Freelancer.com(best site i ever known). For any new comer, this site is praise. The first thing you should have to keep in mind that, if you are going to get a work from here, than you must have to put effort for days(7 even 15 days), like if you are from Asian country, than you should maintain the time frame with the project owner that you are bidding.
You may get response, but if you are failed to answer in due time, than you will be ignored.
So, answering in due time is must.
Another most important point is to be noted that, you should submit a demo for the work which make sense to the employer that you understand the task clearly.
Try to impress the employer by bidding exact cost and time frame. Meeting deadline is important.
